Помогите советом в следующих вопросах:

1) Company is founded to invest in petrochemical projects as an owner and operator.

"owner and operator" - владелец и оператор?

2) petrol NTBE в контексте

"Product is the raw material for the chemical industry where it is being used for the production of formaldehyde, acetic acid, additives to the petrol NTBE and countless of other things."

Что-то Гугол молчит о существовании такой аббревиатуры :(

Подумав и почитав, наверное, в тексте опечатка и должно быть petrol MTBE.

Скорее всего, имелся в виду MTBE - Метил-трет-бутиловый эфир. Наблюдал схожую опечатку в нескольких источниках.

"in petrochemical projects as an owner and operator" - проекты нефтехимические, так что компания не может быть добывающей, просто оператор. В общем случае, как я понимаю, собственник, скажем, НПЗ, может нанять кого-то для НП, а сам сидеть далеко от З и пить коктейли.

Возник еще вопрос: а разве оператор может инвестировать в проекты?
