The broker that lists a home for sale is called the listing licensee.

Listing broker
Licensed real estate broker (agent) who secures a listing of a property for sale. A listing involves a contract authorizing the broker to perform services for the selling property owner. The listing broker may sell the property, but it may also be sold by the selling broker, a different agent, with the two sharing commissions, usually equally.
