English translation of the Russian Criminal Code

Dear colleagues, I am writing in English this time because a friend of mine who does not read Russian has asked me whether there exists an English translation of the Russian Criminal Code. I do not know if it exists, so I just told him to visit Multitran to see if anyone of you guys can give him a clue.
If possible, please respond in English, for my friend's benefit.

Ви будете смеяться, но перевод таки есть. Но ви таки будете смеяться, когда будете его читать. It's a Garant Legal Data base translation. Ну очень смешной перевод. Но перевод. I can zip it up and e-mail you if you supply your address. Acknowledge. By the way, go down to your subj '2 Earl - obespechitel'nyye mery.' I wrote a bit on 'mery presecheniya.' And, I close down early today: I'll have court tomorrow.
