Будьте добры объясните, почему в данном предложении перед details не поставлен артикль. Ведь он же должен быть, так?

The rules for using articles in English are highly complex and there are many exceptions. There would be no problem in writing 'the details' here.

well, that's neither here nor there, silly.

If one really needs to be that pretentious, one could say "we are pleased to confirm". But "we have pleasure"? It's passable without THE, but it's sheer nonsense nonetheless...

Besides the complexity and numerous exceptions related to the use of articles in English, there are certain English speakers who are too lazy to put an article in... or simply have no idea what proper grammar is. Just like certain Russian speakers.
