Subject: OFF - thanks! Just wanted to thank everyone who's helped me in the last few days. I'm finished with Dovlatov, for now, and feel like I understand it much much more now. This forum is great. Thank you!!!

Peter Cantrop - I actually saw that цигейка was spelled with an "и", but I was working with a Dovlatov book and in there it was spelled with an "ы" and I decided to give my allegiance to Dovlatov :)). Will check with Dal' and Ozhegov tomorrow. Is it possible both variants were acceptable at some point? Sorry about that. Serge - my parents told me to say "please" and "thank you". Just because we're in a virtual world doesn't mean these rules don't apply :)). |

kath - please use ; instead of , to enumerate the definition words when you add a term to mt-dictionary - see my correction for "месмерический" and "внедренческий". Btw, in order to avoid term's redundancy and duplication always use first person, singular, masculine for Russian terms. |
