Пожалуйста, помогите перевести. Master (s) я перевожу как "Произведение", но может кто-то посоветует лучший вариант?
Выражение встречается в следующем контексте: 3. Copyright:
Artist acknowledges and agrees that any and all Master(s) recorded under this Agreement and any and all reproductions thereof, as well as all artwork created by Company or its designee(s) for use in connection with the phonograph records made from Masters delivered under this Agreement, shall each be deemed a “work-made-for-hire” for Company under the Copyright Law of the United States and shall, from the time of each of their inception be the property of Company for the duration of copyright and any an all extensions and renewals thereof. In the event that any one or all of the Master(s) are not deemed to be work(s)-made-for-hire for any reason and at any time, Artist’s execution of this Agreement shall be deemed an assignment of all its right, title and interest in the Master(s) to Company for the duration of their respective copyrights and any and all renewals and extensions thereof.

Есть понятие "мастер-копии" насколько я помню, с которой дальше лепятся все прочие.

Masters еще может означать "оригинал".

Спасибо БОЛЬШОЕ. Бывают ситуации, когда переводчика можно сравнить с собакой: все понимаю, а сказать не могу)))))))))

phonograph records made from Masters - раньше, помнится, грампластинки печатали с матриц, вот и МТ подтверждает
