Выражение встречается в следующем контексте: "Oul technology allows use of a wide range of low-cost feeds, including several advantaged feeds".

Мне дали следующее объяснение термину "This feedstock has an advantage over the other feedstocks because not all sites or facilities (in this example steam crackers) can process it, Therefore the cost of the feedstock is typically lower then the other feedstock that you and everyone else has to by (or the yield of product that you make out of it can be better). So it gives you a competitive advantage".

Может есть уже русский эквивалент?
