TM, не надо сказок. You can take 24 hrs - говорят.

You can take 24 hours to think about it, but call them the next day to either take the offer or walk away.

mushy's right, u have twenty-four hours sounds optimal. u can take 24 hours is said, but in the (implied) context of the original post it won't cut it, i m sorry.

for ex,
this is ur notice of eviction, u have 24 hours to vacate the premises.
and now compare it with that:
u can take 24 hours to find new accomodation.

it's a totally different dynamic, different tonality. the first is an order that'd better be obeyed or else. the second borders more on a suggestion.
