What other than telling your colleagues 4 000 000 times can you do to make them stop using RUR when they need RUB because we aren't historians and aren't talking about pre-90's crisis Russia?

1. hit them on the head every time they use it
2. fine them RUB 100 for every time they use it
3. cut a finger off every time
4.....?

1. Doubt you're allowed to do it.
2. This one is OK. I would consider increasing the fine up to RUB 500. But this must be properly formalized in their contracts and job descriptions.
3. This one is even less allowed than the 1st one. And it is too much limited. You can only do it 10 times. After that you will need to invent something else.

When people don't give a crap, ain't much you can do.

I asked one of my subcontractors a million times not to leave trailing spaces in his sentences (we use Trados in Word). Knowing I still proofread his work, he just keeps on. Oh well. I DO remove his trailing spaces, but I don't outsource to him as much as I might otherwise. His loss :)

Проблема в том, что рублевый формат в Экселе записан как RUR - и все пользователи (или почти все) совершенно не задумываются, а просто копируют результат. Что тут делать? Похитить Билла Гейтса и в качестве выкупа потребовать внести изменения в Эксель? Ну или устроить флэшмоб и забросать Мелкомягких требованиями поправки? :)
