Появилась новая (?) афера с оплатой перевода банковским чеком.
Заказ по электронной почте на небольшой (около $100) перевод документа с английского на русский для бизнес-семинара по организции нового бизнеса. Был указан лондонский адрес, прочие реквизиты и оплата банковским чеком. После выполнения работы пришел банковский чек на $2850. На запрос прислать правильный чек пришла просьба прислать обратно разницу по Western Union в Лондон. Местный банк, от имени которого послан чек подтвердил, что чек фальшивый. Эта афера работает поскольку деньги по банковскому чеку приходят через 1-2 дня, а его подделка выясняется через 2-3 недели. Направил жалобу в соответствующие органы итп.

Я тоже попалась на эту удочку. Но мне чек не присылали воообще. Обещали заплатить 250 долларов. Думаю, что все труды напрасны. Значит, деньги никак нельзя востребовать? А наказать эту воображаемую Джессику как-то можно?

Мне недавно писала переводчица с английского на русский из Праги - она тоже сделала небольшой перевод и получила чек в 15 раз больше положенного, сообразила в чем дел, подала жалобы куда положено, но этим никто не занимается ....
Недавно была еще почта из Лондона с заказом перевода о сексуальной жизни и проблемах подростков. Мужчина с арабской фамилией настаивал на телеграфном переводе и требовал банковских реквизитов. Насчет цены, качества и сроков - без проблем..

Я тоже получила такой же запрос, но не стала отвечать. Хотя письмо Джамала даже как-то убедительнее звучит, чем Джессики. У Джессики эл. адрес на yahoo, никакого почтового адреса, никакого названия компании, да и написано письмо не совсем грамотно, впрочем как и у Джамала, но это тоже не показатель. Очень жаль потраченного времени. Жаль, конечно, что никто этими аферистами не занимается.
