может быть и fibers, кстати это больше похоже на истину, но в интернете есть фотографии неких конструкций, похожих на складчатые фильтры, которые называются woven fivers.

Just few "woven fivers" - obvious typos (letter V and B next to each other non keyboard and spellcheck does not help.
Sometimes in the same sentence, e.g.:
The high resistance structure 110 may be composed of a woven fiver or non-woven fiber.
