Subject: *Одно дело, когда...* Одно дело, когда люди украшают свое тело. Человек сознательно причиняет себе боль и неудобства, это, как говорится, его личное дело, но четвероногих-то никто не спрашивает!У мня чёт лучше чем "it is quite normal that", в голову ничего не приходит. Но он же не имеет в виду нормально. Тут типа "готов мириться". А может "I don't really mind"? I don't really mind when somebody decorates his own body with piercing and tattoos, when a person inflicts pain upon himself and discomforts himself consciously. As the phrase goes, it’s his own business. But it is different with animals. Nobody asks their consent! спасибо большое заранее! ...эх, как жаль, что такой хороший и-нет ресурс, как МТ так тошнотворно работает...( |

It is one thing to decorate one's body with piercing and tattoos thereby inflicting pain on and conscieusly discomforting oneself in the process. As the saying goes, it’s one's own business. But it is quite another matter with animals. Nobody asks them for their consent! А вообще, когда говорят "Это совсем другая история", то по-английски нужно переводить It's quite another matter. |
