Пожалуйста, помогите перевести working of melt

Встречается в руководстве по установке для пневмоформования, раздел Troubleshooting. Контекст:
Simplified guide to troubleshooting PE daily gallon based on parison, structural and appearance problems.
Appearance problem: Cold spots in container wall.
Cause: - Insufficient working of melt;
- Low back pressure;
- Low melt index resin mixed into feed.

Insufficient working of melt - недостаточная обработка расплава???
