I am having trouble making sense of the following lines from Солнце by Ані Лорак:

Знаю сердце разорваться может любя
...
Океаны расплескаться могут любя
___________

I have seen them translated as:

I know my heart can break because of love
...
Oceans can overflow because of love
___________

Those translations make sense but it seems to me that the correct translations are:

I know my breaking heart is capable of loving
...
Overflowing oceans are capable of loving

These lines do not really make sense.

Are the first pair correct and why?
