Как переводить и какое значение у обособленной фразы "Way back when..."? Ex.:"Way back when, FAWN was used to describe a dog showing affection. Fawn then came to describe..." "Terrible is the older term, dating back to the 15th century. It was created from the terrere meaning "to frighten" plus the ibilis describing the "capacity, fitness, or tendency to act or be acted upon in a specified way."
WAY BACK WHEN, terrible meant "terrifying; awesome"; or "difficult." Over time, terrible came to mean "extreme; great"; as in a terrible disappointment. Then, by the early part of the last century, terrible had developed a sense meaning "extremely bad." "Когда-то", "В давние времена", "Давным-давно" - что означает это way back when? TIA
