Тематика перевода - составление графика полетов, планирование рабочего дня аэропорта, графиков работы диспетчеров. Примерно так.

Контекст:
The ground stop consists of three phases: the aircraft arrives at the airport, it occupies a stand for a given period of time, and it is pushed back before departure. The stand may be reserved for a period before/after scheduled arrival/departure in order to allow for smaller deviations.

The different parts of the ground stop are known as stand occupations. They can be moved to different stands.

Stands are areas where aircrafts are placed during ground stops. Normally a stand can be occupied by one aircraft at a time.

Загвоздки (понимать понимаю, но хочу уточнить) - "ground stop" и "stand" (стоянка?)

Нахождение самолета на земле, время нахождения самолета на земле, думаю более удачно, чем пребывание.......
