successive terms law

Уважаемые профессионалы, подскажите пожалуйста, насколько уместно в тексте проиведенном ниже слово successive , имея ввиду, что сначала у договора трехмесячный срок, а потом он по умолчанию продлевается на год с автоматической пролонгацией на последующие годичные периоды.

This Agreement commences on the Effective Date and continues in full force and effect for the term of three (3) months, and will automatically renew for successive one (1) year terms thereafter, unless either Party provides written notice to the other at least fifteen (15) days prior to the end of respective term.
