middle eastern leopard (as an alternative, consider near eastern leopard). also, since in russian передная азия comprises mostly the regions known today as anatolia and mesopatamia, it is possible (but no more than that) to call the feline anatolian (mesopatamian) leopard. the best thing to do is to google-test all the options to see which will produce the most entries. of course, ranking by popularity is no guarantee of accuracy, but for the lack of a better alternative, this one will have to do. as they say, beggars cannot be choosers :-))
