| I think it's a matter of preference in speech. Actually, "two thousand ten" takes about 0.523 milliseconds longer two pronounce than "twenty ten", so when time is an issue, use the latter. As to written language, I'd rather use the former, "In the year of twenty ten" sounds awkward, imo. |
