Setting up of the twenty-four hour commercial car-park including 1252 parking places should help to resolve the existing issue of car parking in the city center. "Previously the Government had planned to create pedestrian underways in the Square in order to “distress” the city center and enhance pedestrians’ safety. But, if then people didn’t have the ability to realize it, now they can succeed” – the Governor said. Square is one of the best developed infrastructural centers of the city which includes two metro entrance halls, intersection of the two key arterial roads , stations of all the kinds of ground transport, the main railway station of the city, hotels. Due to all these things the square attracts a great number of people, every day around 120 thousands people pass it through. Incorporation of 24 hour commercial car-park with a capacity of 1,252 parking spaces should be instrumental in bringing some relief to the omnipresent problem of car parking in the city center. |
