IMHO - something is missing in this sentence. Naphtha - a loosely defined petroleum fraction containing primarily aliphatic (linear) hydrocarbons with boiling points ranging from 125o to 240o C. It is thus intermediate between gasoline and kerosene, and contains components of both. Its principal uses are in solvents and paint thinners and as a raw material for the production of organic chemicals, but it has been used as a raw material for the production of synthetic natural gas. |
