Crude slate flexibility: XXX refinery uses a hydroskimming cycle, linked to a thermal cracker / visbreaker conversion cycle. This configuration and the “zero FO” production slate enables XXX to process very heavy / sour crude oils, giving considerable operational flexibility and reducing XXX’s reliance on any one particular quality of crude oil; the ability to process heavy / sour crude oils represents a long term competitive advantage given the expected increase of the sweet-sour differential.

имхо:
сrude slate flexibility - возможности переработки широкого сортамента нефтей
hydroskimming cycle - первичная переработка + гидроочистка
conversion cycle - вторичная переработка
“zero FO (fuel oil)” production - ассортимент продукции, не предусматривающий выпуска мазутов.
