Subject: кандидат медицинских наук med. Какой аналог К.М.Н. в английском языке? Мне кажется, что Candidate of medical Science как-то очень "не по-русски" звучит...

На Западе примерный эквивалентом будет Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Sciences. Просто разные называния, а суть та же. Я бы оставил наше название в скобках бы добавил примерный буржуйский эквивалент) |
| Нет у КМН аналога в английском языке, к сожалению... В англоязычных странах доктор медицины (MD) -- это докторская степень, поскольку врачей там готовят не в институтах, а в медицинских школах, в которые люди поступают, уже имея высшее образование. |

| Kandidat nauk or Candidate of Sciences (Russian and Ukrainian: Кандидат наук) is a first post-graduate scientific degree in the former USSR and in some Post-Soviet and East European countries, awarded for a dissertation (the Doktor nauk (see also Doctor of Science) is one level higher than the Kandidat). The degree was established on January 13, 1934 by a decision of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR. It corresponded to the Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.), existing in the USA, the United Kingdom and other countries[1][2]. In 1971, 249,200 scientists had the degree [1]. In post-Soviet time it is roughly translated into the Ph.D. |

Candidate of Science (Medicine) = Cand. Sci. (Med.) PhD - не надо, поскольку многие ученые имеют и то и другое завание от разных учебных заведений. |
