Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:
Once a student has arrived to colledge, a minimum of one terms’
notice (in writing) is required, or payment in lieu, whether or not
the student continues to attend lessons.Students following the language preparation courses are automatically enrolled to progress on to an academic
programme. The student must therefore give the standard
terms notice if they do not wish to progress further at the College.

Спасибо, я вначале так и написала, но потом меня смутил второй случай употребления этого сочетания в конце абзаца, на сей раз без апострофа почему-то, я и засомневалась. Спасибо большое
