| "Junkyard Dog" was the stage name of a famous wrestler. That would be the first connotation for most English speakers. The name suggests a dog living near the junkyard, not a guard dog. But I don't think you would use this term to describe a dog. It would probably be used to describe a rough, violent, dirty man. |
