Пожалуйста, помогите перевести: only believe / I only believe

Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:

1. Ultimately as a true libertarian, I only believe that the state should be there to protect life, liberty and property.
2. I only believe that someonelse did it for a purpose in our planet.
3. Although it may sound hypercritical to say that I do believe their may be life or has been life on Mars. I only believe that this may be in the form of bacteria other small organisms.
4. I only believe that these actions are moral if the mother was going to abort her baby irregardless of the situation.

Нечто подобное прозвучало сегодня из уст пакистанского президента Первеза Мушаррафа, и далее перевод: "я глубоко убежден..." вот на это 'I only believe'.
А по-другому как-то можно?

only может импользоваться для усиления: при выражении сильного желания, например. (e.g. I only wish I knew what's happening)
