| I would say "I was burning with desire", not "I was burning with A desire". The latter sentence would mean, there is some unidentified desire burning inside me, and the explanation is frthcoming. Besides, burn with desire is a set phrase, so the article really sounds out of place here. Maybe, it's different in BrE? |
