Слово встречается в следующем контексте: "финно-угорская культура накладывает табу на разновариантное прогнозирование жизни"

эта фраза, сказанная профессорами в области психиатрии и/или психологии, так что, я полагаю, слово являеся достаточно приемлемым...
Пожалуйста, НЕ переводите все предложение, а только слово РАЗНОВАРИАНТНЫЙ

I rather like MULTIVARIABLE (or multi-variable), I have googled it, it relates mainly to mathematics, though I found "multivariable forecast" as well, related to physics or/and optics. One cannot actually rule out the term just because it is used in a different field, so I will keep trying...

Yeah, on second thought 'polyvalent' is not the right word. It implies a possibility of applying something in various ways, which is not our case...

Multivariable looks better suited.
