Subject: Изменения и дополнения в Закон о Труде Дополнить пунктом 15) следующего содержания:
|
As amended by Clause 15 prescribing/laying down/setting forth. Example: The Attorney General of the United States has certified The Contractor shall furnish to the contracting |
если о первой фразе, то amendments and alterations of the Law on Labour. если о второй - после такого комментария говорить уже нечего, кроме того, что на мой личный вкус я чаще использую setting forth, чем остальные варианты |
Спасибо |
The word 'amendment' is all inclusive, ie, it contains both Russian 'dopolnenia i izmenenia', therefore - Amendments to the Law on Labour. (Russian translations always say either 'changes and additions', 'alterations and amendments', etc., which is reduntant in English). As amended by Clause 15 prescribing/laying down/setting forth - suggests that it has already been amendend/changed (the word 'as'). Unless I'm mistaken, the Russian says that it "Should be amended to include Clause 15..." (it uses the imperative - dopolnit'), therefore, normally it says something like: Add/Introduce Clause/Article 15 as follows: and then the text of the new stipulation |
I've given an example of usage "amend by", like the Labour Codes shall be amended by Article/Clause 15. I didn't mean using "as amended by" in this particular context. |
