Are these the same links? Wouldl they be "klemmy" or any of the other 20+ meanings?

CONTEXT:
1. The actual power level at 'low power' is set by links and tap switches on the autotransformer in the power control unit determine ‘high power’.
2. Connections to the coils are by copper links, two (2) in series per inductor
