It's full of photos of different types of wind chimes. http://www.windchimegarden.com/intro.html They all look different but serve the same function - they are usually hung by the window, on patios, decks, outside houses, etc. When the wind blows, they make a lovely sound, which also depends on materials used, design, shape, etc. If you have seen the film Body Heat (Dir. Lawrence Kasdan. With William Hurt and Cathleen Turner) you have seen wind chimes - there is a scene focusing on a whole bunch of these things hanging outside Turner's house, making melodic noise.
