Subject: 2001 Подскажите, пож-та, как произносится 2001. Предполагаю, что "twenty oh one". А что насчет "twenty hundred and one"? Слышал вариант "two thousand four". В итоге сколько вариантов здесь возможно? А что насчет 2000? Спасибо!

| it depends what it means, if it's a year, then two thousand and one, if it's just a number (part of the phone number) then you can break it down: two zero zero one, two o o one, twenty zero one etc. |
| it's usually pronounced two thousand and one. however, once it gets into the teens, i suspect it'll be twenty thirteen, twenty fourteen, etc. (2013, 2014) - pertaining to years, that is. |
| I've heard that a news reader (BBC) pronounced twenty oh four. I guess it is a new tendency but logical. |
