Subject: Petcoke, tandem, um,
Добрый день,

не могли бы вы помочь мне с переводом.

Контекст:

Location : Tocopilla (1500 Km North of Santiago, Chile, South America)
Commissioning Year : 1995 / 1997
Power Installed : 264,.8 MW
Number of Units : 2 (132,4 / 132,4 MW)
Fuel : Coal - Petcoke / Fuel oil
Plant Design : Monoblock
Boilers Manufacturer : Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
Type of Turbine : M.H.I Tandem-compound Steam Turbines

Currently, vibration is increasing from 50 um to 95 um between 75 and 110 MW. Further, MHI propounded the bearing replacement.

Есть варианты: um - единици измерения, но хотелось бы знать точнее.
Petcoke - petrol coke - ?????

заранее всем спасибо

Petcoke - нефтяной кокс
Tandem-compound turbine скорее всего теплофикационная турбина - то есть турбина с возможностью отбора пара на нужды отопления

ВОТ:

A compound turbine is a turbine
A turbine is a rotary engine that extracts energy from a fluid flow. The simplest turbines have one moving part, a rotor-blade assembly. Moving fluid acts on the blades to spin them and impart energy to the rotor. Early turbine examples are windmills and water wheels.

A turbine operating in reverse is called a compresor or Turbopump.

Gas, steam and water turbines usually have a casing around the blades that focuses and controls the fluid. The casing and blades may have variable geometry that allow efficient operation for a range of fluid flow conditions.

Often F is taken to be the of the magnitude of the mean vector force normal to the surface of area A upon which it exerts; the "surface" not necessarily being a that of a body, but for example the cross sectional area of a conduit.

The steam is partially expanded in the high-pressure casing, then exhausted to the low-pressure casing. The rotor arrangement can be either tandem-compound in which the two axels are joined end to end, or cross-compound in which the two turbines have separate axels. In the cross-compound case two separate generator An electrical generator is a device that produces electrical energy from a mechanical energy source. The process is known as electricity generation.

DevelopmentsBefore the connection between magnetism and electricity was discovered, generators used electrostatic principles. The Wimshurst machine used electrostatic induction or "influence". The Van de Graaff generator uses either 1) a charge transfer from a high-voltage electrode or 2) the triboelectric effect to separate electric charges using the friction between insulators. Electrostatic generators are inefficient and are useful only for scientific experiments requiring high voltages.

The principal advantages of compound turbines are the reduction in size of any one casing, the confinement of the highest pressure to the smaller casing (which may be made of stronger and more expensive materials) and the possibility of divided flow in the low-pressure casing for the purpose of equalizing end thrusts. preview not available.
