Work in excess of standard work hours may be compensated as "overtime."

Longer working hours on top of regular work hours should subject to compensation as "overtime".

Оvertime work to be remunerated accordingly.

http://www.apertis.ch/e_Apertis1.html

Many employers do not know an overtime regulation for executives.
But the Swiss Federal Court differentiates between overhours and overtime.
Overhours is everything that lies over the normal work time. Overtime is everything that lies over the legally permissible maximum work time.

The compensation (of workers/ employees) for overhours will be the same as for overtime.

Overhours to be compensated same as overtime

2 witloof: I don't believe it would have the same meening. What the original sentence is saying (as I understand it) is that "working overtime may actually be compensated as overtime." Some companies do not allow this.

These companies may treat your over-time work as so-called "comptime." You will not be paid for extra hours worked, but you may add those extra hours or days worked to your vacation or scheduled time-off. In general, "overtime" is a more complicated concept than just the "extra time" you work. Depending on the place you work, your overtime pay may be subject to certain laws and regulations.

So, the original sentence is saying that your extra time will be compensated as "overtime" (with the term "overtime" having a very specific meaning to that company.)

Also, I don't think "overhours" is a word. I may be wrong, but I have never heard it before.
