Завтра кандидатский экзамен. Остались кое-какие предложения и фразы, которые частично не могу перевести. Помогите, пожалуйста. Заранее благодарю.

7.Many in receipt of a state pension are now receiving these additional graduated amounts, the exact amount received depending on the number of units a pensioner has purchased.

8. For employees in SERPS, as well as the contributions required for the basic pension, an additional amount towards SERPS entitlement is made.

9. Other than for the year immediately prior to becoming a pensioner, each year's 'earnings factor' is 'revalued' by a percentage that reflects the increase in national average wages since the tax year concerned.

10. Where, for example, the other benefit is non-contributory, the amount of benefit is adjusted by deducting the amount ofstate pension received, with only the balance remaining paid to the claimant. Where the other benefit is contributory, then only the higher of the two benefits is paid.

11.With pensions and other benefits paid to the elderly currently constituting the largest part of social security expenditure, allied to the 'demographic time-bomb' of the elderly becoming an ever-increasing section of the population, the provision of financial resources for the elderly is an issue of great contemporary importance.

Я же не прошу помочь перевести все, я понимаю, что это время и определенный труд... Вот сижу, пытаюсь сама приложить максимум услий...но пока приемлимого перевода не получается...Может кто-то поможет перевести 1-2 предложения - и за это ему преогромнейшее человеческое СПАСИБО.. На большее я и не расчитываю (((

Понимаете, я бы вам помогла, но боюсь, что неквалифицированно.
Вы в теме даже не указали тематику - социальная. Может, тогда больше народа на эту ветку подошло бы.
Ну давайте я попробую хоть что-то.

11. Постоянно растущая доля пожилого населения - демографическая бомба замедленного действия - обуславливает расходы бОльшей части социального бюджета на пенсии и другие пособия для пожилых, поэтому вопрос выделения средств для этой группы населения/по этой статье приобретает сейчас особую важность.
