Other flexibilities allowed in the CCI for issuing visas continue to apply. For instance, multiple-entry visas for a long period of validity- up to five years- can be issued to other categories of persons than those mentioned in Article 5, if the conditions foreseen in the Common Consular Instructions3(CCI) are met (cfr.
