Subject: environmental amenity
how would the resident wonks of the board translate the following phrase: environmental amenity value. the context is hard to reproduce, it was during oral translation that this tournure came up. so, here it goes: rates of return for reforestation activities in the irtysh valley will undoubtedly fall short of the government objective of 12%; however, the environmental amenity value of the coniferous forest should bump it up to somewhere near the target range. of course, i am paraphrasing here, but the gist should be clear to all.

ps dont mind the typos, i am really in too much a hurry to proofread the post. hope no one will take it as proof of my bush-like fatuity :)))
