Partially filled pipes with gradients necessitate a drain-type configuration. The ЕPD function offers additional protection by detecting empty or partially filled pipes.
Do not install the sensor at the lowest point in the drain.
It is advisable to install a cleaning valve.

в данном случае "drain-type configuration" - трубопровод с участком подтопления или трубопровод с дренажным сливом?

"sensor" - говоря об электромагнитном расходомере - датчик или преобразователь? Еще в документе используется отдельный термин "transmitter" (e.g. "All the dimensions and lehgths of the sensor and trasmitter are provided in ...)

drain-type configuration - значит все трубы линии должны иметь уклон (gradient) для слива жидкости самотеком, т.е. без участков с подъемом
sensor - датчик
transmitter - измерительный преобразователь
