| easiment is when somebody else has the right to use a specific part of your property for a specifically defined purpose only, i.e. a neighbor, in order to get to his house has to drive through your property, therefore he has an easimnet, or a right ot use a specific part of your property for this specific usage. Public utility companies often can have easiment on a private land, i.e. a right to run electrical lines, gas lines, telephone lines, etc. through a private property. |
