The telephone rings and I answer it, glad to have someone to talk to. I've got to work. I was wool - gathering and anyway, I don't think, that memory really went anywhere. Exept that it was the first time I remember having to deal with blood, and the stickiness and traps of being hurt, I don't know why I was thinking about it. Except that once you're injured, it takes patience to get out of it.
