Community Grants are Available!
At the First 5 Sacramento Commission, we know that relationships can create a network or support system for families with young children. With this in mind, we have Community Grants of up to $5000 per activity/project available through our Community Building Initiative (CBI). These grants are not for organizations. They are for community members like you – parents, grandparents or others - who want to get together as a group to create activities/projects that: 1) make a better place for children ages zero to five to grow and live; 2) build relationships and networks with others; and 3) encourage families to speak up for themselves, their children, or their community.
