milit., logist. Light, temporary CP, designed to enable the commander or his deputy to conduct one specific phase of the engagement or an action limited in time and space. This light command structure is made up of specialists tasked with: 1. conducting an action requiring close coordination of assets crossing, relief.; 2. establishing an especially significant liaison with another major unit during the maneuver especially with allied major units; 3. creating a "harpoon", should the MAIN CP not have alternate CP at that time.
