milit., logist.	Actions carried out when the conflict is over. They cover actions intended to support political, economic, social, military actions to prevent the reappearance of the conflict causes. FRA 2. NATO A peace support operation employing complementary diplomatic, civil and - when necessary - military means, to address the underlying causes of conflict and the longer-term needs of the people. It requires a commitment to a long-term process and may run concurrently with other types of peace support operations.
