Yesterday I was going into Nesters Gastown when a guy in the atrium biked past and yelled something at me. I’m used to the cat calls and continued on. Awhile later I had a couple security guards approach me and asked if I knew him. They escorted me to the far end of the store and told me that he was circling the store, saying severe threats towards me, and had a weapon. They wouldn’t let me leave the store until the police arrived and another security officer walked me home. I’m thankful they took action, my day could’ve ended a lot differently.
