In a “violence control” context, mission of compelling action to modify their disposition in order to prevent them from continuing a direct or indirect confrontation and creating a neutral zone under the control of friendly forces. The separation must be accepted by the authorities, even if, locally, a show or use of force may be necessary to fulfill the mission.
