The collision happened at around 4:45 p.m. near 3rd Street in front of several witnesses. The male driver of a white Tesla had pulled out and was heading south, downhill on Lonsdale and then made a U-turn to head north up the street, according to police. A woman who was cycling north up Lonsdale at the same time was struck by the vehicle, said Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, North Vancouver RCMP spokesperson.
