A final phase of an operation, starting once the transfer of responsibility to the civilian authority has been carried out, the normalization phase is composed of a series of actions contributing towards the progressive restoration of authority in a country in a crisis and supporting the return to the normal working of its institutions. Civilian authorities conduct most of the actions with the support of the military forces. 2.
